Physical Description Of Common Tit Underside:
From the underside both sexes of Hyppolycaena erylus is pale greyish brown. Hindwing does't have any spot in the basal area of 7. The Hyppolycaena erylus contain two tails. Tails may be 6 to 5mm long. At the end-cell a pair of bar placed prominently. On the forewing a regular discal line also placed. A broken, less regular line placed on the hindwing.
The male Hyppolycaena erylus is pale blue to dark brown above, dark shining purple depending on the light. It has a black border with the upper forewing having a large black discal area of modified scales.
The female is dark brown and its hindwing has a white disconnected discal band avobe the tornus. The butterfly also has a white-edge tornal black spot in space 2.

Physical Description Of Hyppolycaena erylus Upperwing:
Both male and female upperwings are similar. But the male upperside is pale blue and the females are brown in coloration.
Local Distribution:
The Hyppolycaena erylus is widely distributed all over the Bangladesh. This species may also found in Nepal, Burma, Thailand, India and many more Southeast Asian country.
